Ding- Not too upset about it given that I did not have an interview and it was expected. Happy with my other choices. Congrats to everyone accepted, it seems like it was a very tough year to get into Yale!

+1 to this being a seemingly tough year. not trying to engage in relative comparison and there is certainly a lot of variance.

lols, imagine if we all got in and adcom is just waiting for tomorow to call us before we get the official email! know Im being overly optimistic but cant hurt thinking good thoughts. Would be an awful night tonight though...

That was a pretty harrowing 20 minutes.

I'm traveling in Asia right now, and I woke up to a voicemail via Google Voice from Yale SOM's admissions office. It just said to call back without mentioning whether the decision was positive or negative. Unfortunately, I have no access to a phone right now. Then I got an e-mail.

I'm IN!!

Very excited since Yale is my first choice.

Orrrrr we offended them particularly somehow during the interview and they are just holding off on clicking the "ding" button to torment us in our own special internal hells. Feasting on the irony that we are self-inflicting our torment at our own hands.

I have heard it does, but I think in June. I remember reading it somewhere. But, I could be wrong.
