Considering they admitted very few in R1, I am guessing they are going to admit many more this time around. Also, you need to factor in the acceptance rate.
I remember reading it somewhere that it is around 80% for Haas. So I am guessing they have to make around 165 offers for almost 140 seats in R2. That would leave some 70+ seats for R3 and make it equally competitive for R3 folks...
