haha I'm starting to get anxious myself. I applied and was admitted to FEMBA for R2. Since Anderson called us a week and a half in advance of the decision date there wasn't much build up of anxiety. But with EWMBA.....I'm going to start freaking out soon....


You know what helps calms your nerves is some green tea and playing some soothing music in a dim light. Another thing that might help is..........screw it...lets just all freak out together :lol:

i had a dream this morning that i was called into the admission office and was asked to pick a folder from one of the two piles in front of me. i picked one, opened it, and it says "Status: No Admit"....... :(

may be i should consider your suggestion to go for some greentea+music tonight.

lol! i think being called into the admissions office was a good sign! maybe u r admitted! no1 is going to call u to the office otherwise... :P

lol. I had a dream a few weeks ago that I was in a waiting room with other FT / EWMBA candidates. After the FT students were called, a lot of people who were not called began leaving the room with some sad faces. But then all of a sudden I was the first to be called for EWMBA. What a dream...until I woke up......ughhhhh

FYI, for R1 they started calling around 3PM. I highly doubt they're calling today, but don't freak out tomorrow morning if they haven't called.

I had one or two grammar problems on mine that I missed. I doubt a single Haas misspelling will matter, unless you wrote that you were excited to attend Chicago Booth in your Haas essay.

As far as I know, Haas doesn't offer feedback about your application. When I got the call it was fairly generic as far as admit calls go. The only real difference was the person that called me was also the person I interviewed with and she said she was excited to meet me at the admit event in april since the interview had been via skype.

I know a number of programmers at work who got their MBA from UC Davis Bay Area and they seem to be happy about it… I rather wait another year!

i was checking this thread even while stuck in traffic on 101 and laughing about people sharing their dreams, some listening to music, some watching family guy...
its fun to share the anxiety together with everyone else!

Kind of curious. If they knew you were admitted/rejected and you asked, would they say? Might not look good on them from an adcom perspective?

I am serious that you have a pretty solid GMAT score in our WL category. I don't know the rest of your app, but I am sure it is pretty good too.
Hence I think it would be easier for you to get an admit this time around...

by the way, i am not sure if anyone has asked them his result without any real reason... but there is always a 1st time... why not you be the trendsetter? :D
m just joking man... chill... day is over now.. we are past 5pm... tomorrow anyways all these speculations and anxiety we have been sharing since the last few months might just end for most of us...

I am serious that you have a pretty solid GMAT score in our WL category. I don't know the rest of your app, but I am sure it is pretty good too.
Hence I think it would be easier for you to get an admit this time around...
