They will notify ppl with phone calls and the rest by updating their status on the website on the 28th right? No calls for w'listed and rejected ones?

I've been a long time lurker. But these last posts made me want to come out. MoEWMBA, I read through some of your previous posts. You wrote Haas as "Hass" numerous times and I'm not sure if you did the same on any of your essays. If so, I would think that this oversight may cause some issues with the adcom. Correct me if I'm wrong.

haha... not really... its just that its soo quite out here and no1 has reported any calls yet that i find it hard to understand why did they call out a few folks last week... and since when have they started calling WL'ed folks?

Considering that Haas admits the most in this round, it translates to ~125 phone calls. Even if each call has an average duration of 5 mins, thats like ~10 hours of phone calls. So they might start calling sometime in the afternoon. Or who knows, they might have already!

I am just going crazy waiting for that ONE call!!

Yeah but that's 10 man hours. They have multiple people calling concurrently I presume.

Considering they admitted very few in R1, I am guessing they are going to admit many more this time around. Also, you need to factor in the acceptance rate.
I remember reading it somewhere that it is around 80% for Haas. So I am guessing they have to make around 165 offers for almost 140 seats in R2. That would leave some 70+ seats for R3 and make it equally competitive for R3 folks...

haha I'm starting to get anxious myself. I applied and was admitted to FEMBA for R2. Since Anderson called us a week and a half in advance of the decision date there wasn't much build up of anxiety. But with EWMBA.....I'm going to start freaking out soon....

You know what helps calm your nerves is some green tea and playing some soothing music in a dim light. Another thing that might help is..........screw it...lets just all freak out together :lol:
