Going by previous rounds, people got video+real interview invites in the same mail. Those who got only video invites seemed to be somewhat disappointed.

Anyone here with an invite to both video+real interview?

I think they have for now only rolled out calls for video interview to candidates. From the ones I know, no one has received a video+real both. They might roll out the video + real invites tomorrow. Well, that's just an educated guess that I can make out.

I checked with one of my friends who received a video interview invite only (in R1). And yes he, at a later date, received a Skype interview invite as well. So, I believe there is nothing to sweat about. The fact that you have received a video interview invite shows that the school kind of likes you!

And regarding the apprehension that many people have that receiving a video invite isn't that great when compared to getting a video+real, I'll say getting a video invite is far better than getting nothing. Let's just do it step by step and appreciate what you have.
