I got an R1 interview invite today. They mentioned the application was still under review though. Perhaps they invite you when they seem to have enough information to take you to the next step.

I got an admit with scholarship as well. I had my interview on 12/11/2015. The interview went for around 40 minutes with basic questions like why GW, why now, long term/short term goals, what concentrations I am aiming for etc. It was pretty conversational.

Congos...
However they have mentioned in their accept mail that the scholarships are "UPTO" 40,000.
It means that we don't know how much the scholarships are. We need to wait.

Hi abhishek,

I don't think sharing the SOP is the right way to go for a career path such as MBA. Believe me I also faced difficulty at the start. I will be more than happy to share my experience with the admission process. I can guide you on how to think in the right direction for essays and interview. U can PM me any question u have with respect to the process.

Does the Adcom people take time to call for interview for Round 2. Any idea guys??
