I understand your frustration. That said, you have a lot to be proud of.
Admissions has changed at top schools given unlimited GMAT re-takes, pushing non-URM stats into the stratosphere. There was an article on P&Q re: HBS's shift in admissions. Now that all of the non-URM's have 730+ GMAT's, it's really fickle how you can differentiate yourself (e.g. tear-jerker essay).
