I do feel like Owen has alienated a lot of people through their admission process

I was put off by the interview process at Owen this year. Their internal video system isn’t the best, and there’s no way to pre-configure before your interview. Also, my interviewer seemed more interested in making her time limit than anything else, so I felted rushed and uncomfortable from the start.

I’m not sure what others are complaining about. Their application process on a whole was very smooth. Video interview was straight forward (many other schools use this format), and the interview was conversational/informational. But I do understand that everyone has a different experience. However, on the whole, I would not say that Owen has an app process that is drastically different from any other school.

True. It’s just that Indians don’t stand much chance in R2. The last batch has around 30% international students out of 160. If we consider 50 students to be international then 20-25% of them should be Indians given that around 18/19 countries were represented. So technically 20-25% of 50 would be 10-15 Indians in the class. And i think more than that would have been admitted in R1 itself this year

I agree about the smoothness of application process as a whole. Everything was straightforward. I’m probably in the minority, but I enjoyed the video essay.

­Yea same here, got the same request, and you have to get the school to physically mail the transcripts over.

I tried using email, directly from my undergrad university, but Candian universities aren't part of the secure transmission network that they're using in the  States so sending the physical copy is the only choice. ­

Everyone gets an invite just hold on you will receive one. If you want to get in then take the GMAT/GRE at least.

Yeah, everyone gets a call. For interview prep, you will get a lot of questions from GMAT interview debrief.

Guys gmat waiver request was accepted. i got interview invite yesterday. I am thinking to write GMAT but it will take sometime. i have not prepared well for it.

After interview how much time they take ( in terms of day) to reply selection or rejection.

Applying in R3 and interview is on 6th April.
