Hey there,
So, about a month ago I decided to apply to Sauder's full time MBA program. I had been thinking about it for awhile but for various reasons kept putting it off. My circumstances changed, so I applied. It was a mad scramble and I just completed the GMAT this morning. 630 with 39Q and 37V. I'm not happy with this score, but considering how little time I had, it will do. Unfortunately, I didn't not rank in the 50+ percentile for Quant, a stated condition of acceptance.
My question: Has anyone here been accepted into the program who didn't achieve the 50% threshold in either the Quantitative or Verbal sections of the GMAT?
Cheers!
Hey there,
I have been accepted to the Sauder MBA with a 600 GMAT and a 36Q score, so it is do-able as long as you have good references, essays and a solid CV. The good thing about your score is that it's rather balancd between Quantitative and Verbal so it won't raise many flags. The only thing is that with a score in the 600 range, you might just not get any scolarship compared to GMATs in the 700 range.
Good luck to you!
