Expert's post
Welcome to all Sauder (University of British Columbia) full time MBA applicants! Use this platform to know each-other, build network, exchange ideas/information, discuss application strategies, share interview /school visit experiences, and boost one-another's morale to face the tough admission process.

I request all applicants to add Sauder school on your MBA timeline so that the applicant stats displayed in the first post reflect true picture of admissions. While adding the school to the timeline, MAKE SURE you are setting it for graduation year i.e. 'Class of 2019'. I know this class will graduate in December 2018 but the our system consider program duration in years, not in month, so a 16 month program is considered 2 year program. Thank you!

Good luck to all!

For the record, we can receive an admission offer prior to sending the official transcripts right?

I gave my GMAT last week and got a score of 620. I have 5 years of Work Ex in the IT industry. Planning to apply in Round 2. Do I have a good chance of being considered?

Hi Sharath,

I am guessing you are from India right? With your profile of a male IT engineer from India the competition is quite tough and seeing that the average GMAT score for last year was around 650 it goes even higher for Indians(over represented pool), it is going to be a little tough unless you have something outstanding to show in your profile. Then again, might I suggest that you get in touch with the admissions committee, let them go through your profile.
