Hi All,

I have 69% in my Btech and Sauder required minimum 72%. Do you guys think that I should apply for Sauder MBA even if I am not meeting minimum requirements.

Thanks - Ankit

You should drop an email to the admissions department of Sauder. They would be the best person to guide you on this!

I agree with Abhimirage, but in my personal opinion I think you should apply. I have 67% in my UG, yet I am applying. I didn't check with the adcom. I attended an education fair where representatives from most other schools in Canada were present (Sauder was supposed to be there too, but they couldn't make it at the last minute), and the general advise from the adcom members were for me to apply. You have a good score, so you should consider applying.

Submitted my application today.
Do any one of you know if they offer conditional admissions? I haven't posted the originals to them yet, and hence the query.
And secondly, do they review applications only after they receive the recommendations?
Would be great if anyone can throw some light.

From my interactions, I understand that they will review the app with the uploaded documents, but need the originals before communicating the firm decision. Which perhaps means that you get some time to send it, after they have prima facie decided you are admitted. Does that answer your query?
If you need any further info, I suggest mailing their "Help" ID, they are pretty prompt in their response.

It answers the first part, thank you.. I will send them the transcript tomorrow anyways. I remember transcript being the only document that needs sending as a hardcopy.
Do you know if they start before they get the recommendations? if not I should probably chase my references and get them to write my recos asap.

It is unlikely they will "review" the app without the recos, them being integral components. Best to expedite your referrees! A rare chance to expedite up the ladder, don't lose it! Good luck! & don't forget to update your app status please, if not yet done.

I had contacted the Admission Committee a few days before I submitted the application and she said that my application would not be considered complete without a recommendation letter. So yes, it's required that your supervisor submit the letter, by the deadline you are targeting.

A small query :
In the uploaded docs section, I have uploaded the gmat official student copy report. (I had anyways requested scores to be sent to Sauder during GMAT)
But that report also has the list of 4 other schools, I have sent the scores to (during my GMAT)
Is that something a matter of concern ?
Should I remove that page from the document before uploading for any other school ?

I think you should not bother. The last thing schools would have time for in peak season is to check last of free schools on each gmat score report!
Just upload the candidate version, I'd say! :)
