I find Chicago 2, a new question this year, to be a thought provoking one. It asks:
"At Chicago Booth, we believe each individual has his or her own leadership style. How has your family, culture, and/or environment influenced you as a leader?"
In a recent Eye on Admissions video, which I have also added to our 2012 Chicago Booth tip post, I provided additional insight into this question, which asks you to comment in one essay on both your leadership style and your personal background.The combination is probably symptomatic of the integrative reasoning that is playing an increasing role in MBA education.
