Hey everyone.

Foster updated their essays for this year. (Taken from https://www.foster.washington.edu/academ ... ocess.aspx)

Two essays are required and must be uploaded to your online application. The optional essay allows you to tell us more about yourself or explain an area of potential concern.

Essay 1: Post-MBA Plans (750 words maximum) - Tell us your ideas about what lies ahead for you in your career. What are the gaps or deficiencies currently preventing you from pursuing these potential career paths? How do you plan to use your time in the Foster MBA program to fill these gaps and advance your career?

Essay 2: Inspiring Profession Experience (500 words maximum) - Describe a specific experience that inspired your professional plans and prompted you to explore the MBA.

Essay 3: Optional essay (500 words maximum) - Please include this essay if you have additional information that you believe would be helpful to the admissions committee in considering your application.

I look forward to meeting some of the other people who plan on applying this year!

I have 4 essays in my online application. It lists Choice Essay as mandatory as well......

Same here. That was an essay last year, maybe they forgot to remove it.

Just an FYI - I sent an email over asking about that choice essay. They said that it's listed on our app because we started our applications a bit earlier than they expected. They told me to ignore that essay requirement as it is not required this year.

Last year they started turning around interview invites about 10 days after the submission date...

Just wanted to let you all know that I got an interview invite today so it seems that they are being sent out now. Debating on whether or not to head to Seattle for the interview or have it here in NYC.

Yesterday was an interesting day. Got an interview invite, but got an acceptance and $$$ from Notre Dame... Decisions, decisions. Go home or go to Notre Dame (I grew up on ND football) and get good money.

Had my interview on the 1st. Andy Chen interviewed me over Skype, it was a really good experience. Conversational all through, I had all standard MBA questions along with few minor case studies. Overall, it went reasonably well, fingers crossed for the results!!

I interviewed on 31st, did not have any case studies during my session...

Hey guys,
I gave my interview on 2nd Nov, reaaaallly cool interview...
and in my experience, the Foster adcoms are soooo friendly and welcoming! best interview experience ever :)
I had my interview with Sarah, super cool , all standard questions and a couple of situational leadership questions too... for me focus was more on leadership though...
