I literally received my interview invite 10 minutes ago. Very pumped. Now I need to decide whether to travel to Seattle or meet with the rep they are sending to DC. Any thoughts?

Have you been to Seattle yet? I decided to interview on campus (I'm an east coaster, as well) so I could have the opportunity to sit in on a class and meet up with an ambassador to get to know even more about the program. If you're able to schedule your interview toward the end of February you can have it coincide with a shadow day and if not, email the ambassador program and they should be able to set you up with a host (my interview did not coincide with any events so I sat in on a class about an hour, spent a half hour or so talking about the program with my host, had an hour break, and interviewed that same afternoon). There's something to be said about visiting the campus and the city. Visiting campus helped me with my interview.

Good luck!

I flew in from the Midwest for my R2 interview. I figured it would make a good impression and show admissions that I was serious about attending. If you haven't been to campus yet, I recommend you opt for an interview in Seattle.
Good Luck!

Lakota, your post along with Ryan CJW are persuading me. I think I can fly out for about $331 and I believe I have family friends I can stay with.

Question about the Shadow Day: The ideal day would be the 2/24 session. Could I interview and do the shadow day on the same day? Would I need to coordinate that with the campus first?

I think you are correct Sindbad, which is why I wanted to let everyone know. I've been following other school threads so I was aware of the feeling. I got an e-mail.

Just saw an email with interview invitation. Super pumped! For those of you that haven't received one yet, don't lose hope! Was reading threads from previous years and it looks like invitations were sent right up until near the end.

I'm not sure how long the shadow day is. If you're looking to knock it all out in one day, you could probably sit in on a class with an ambassador and interview. Send an email over to the ambassador program (you can find their email on the MBA website) and see if they can set you up. They might be able to let you know how long the shadow day is as well.

Found out this morning via email that I have been invited to interview! Very excited! Bizschoolorbust, if you have never been out to UW I also highly recommend you interview on campus. I am a little biased because I went to UG there, but it truly is one of the most beautiful college campuses I have ever been on. The new Paccar building is also really impressive and all other things being equal, could tip the scales on your decision.

Good luck everyone!

I read on some blog or forum(can't remember where) that Foster sends out invite based on the Region starting from US. Generally US applicant will receive the call late.
Totally agree with @shreister, it's going to be another long week.

I don't think this holds true with Foster, based on R1 and R2 invites!
