Little late to the party. Was waitlisted in R1, still waitlisted.

Does CBS assign waitlist manager?

Trying to gauge my chance of getting in from the waitlist

It’s really hard to estimate getting off WL but I’m sure that’s what everyone’s doing … The numbers are not very relevant for the waitlist. It’s the specific profiles. If they need more military or more women for example or more engineers or perhaps more extroverts, or to bump up their average GME score, they will be looking for a woman with military background and high GMAT score who is an extrovert. This is an example from hell but shows it Makes hard to predict.

I have actually seen people get off the waitlist and be offered a scholarship. This was a few years ago at Haas.

would that have been an example of yield protection?

Yeah, I know it’s really hard to navigate the waitlist game.

Also, when is R2 deposit deadline?

Funding decisions out for R2 admits — how did things shakeout for people?

No $ for me so will be declining my spot in favor of better offers elsewhere.

How did people find out about scholarships? Is it on the portal somewhere?

It’s in the portal, if it’s not there it means = 0 scholarship

Anybody heard anything more from the waitlist R1?

No $ for me as well.. debating between MIT Sloan (who gave $) vs CBS

did any other R2 further evaluation (without interview) candidate just get the following email to resubmit their form confirming their interest to remain on the waitlist?
