What worries me the most are all those horror stories regarding round 3 applications

What horror stories are u referring to? Isnt this the first year they are doing 3 specific rounds instead of just rolling decisions?

Just in general for round 3. Lot of YouTube and posts are saying the acceptance is lower in the final round. i hope that’s not the case this year

oh yea, no its definitely true that if you want the best chance of getting in u need to apply round 1, but with that being said, applying round 3 gives u a short turn around to next years cycle as a reapplicant. There are obviously benefits to both. Hard to really handicap this process. Lots of luck involved. Which is why they specify applying when u think ur application is the best.
