@Jinson…Agreed seems odd that you didn't get an admit w/750 GMAT + good spreads. What's ur background/education? Something doesn't add up. (btw, w/750, why didn't u target any top 10 programs?)

Hi,

I got a similar email inviting me to apply and calling me a preferred candidate and all.
But I got no application fee waiver. I applied anyways.
I got an email(in addition to the automated thank you for submitting one) saying we will have your admissions decision by.... and there was no date specified. They had just copied and pasted a template. I wrote to them asking to mention the date. No response.

Also, as an international candidate, I was concerned about getting the VISA work done in case of an admit (long shot, I know)
So I wrote to them again to atleast give me a date by which they can give me their decision. No response again.

Anybody else facing any similar issues? Any advice would be welcome.

Yeah I didn't get a preferred candidate tag but yeah I mailed them regarding the VISA and they responded saying there will be no such issue if the decision is rendered by April. So they encouraged me to go ahead and apply and I would say that to you too.

mauriciohl, just act normally and think of it more as a conversation between two people than an interview. Obviously you want to maintain a professional demeanor, but don't feel intimidated or insecure, it's just talking! My AdCom person I interviewed with was great and I felt at ease throughout the entire discussion. I also met many of the other admissions staff members over the course of a preview weekend I attended and they were all very nice. Good luck in your interview!

I'm in the US. Accepted for the 1 year program with $$$, but I applied for the 2 year program. Not sure how I feel about the 1 year. I'm also weighing options at Kelley (not sure of $$$ yet) and waiting on decisions for other schools.

Anyone else cautious to enter the one year and not benefit from an internship and extended networking opportunities? Anyone else weighing options at Kelley?

I'm interested in consulting.

I visited the campus recently and talked to 2 yr and 1yr students, the 1 yr is really intense and bcs everything goes so fast pace you don't retain as much info as you would with the 2 yr program. If you're staying in the same industry the 1 yr might be worth it. If you're changing careers you'll really need that internship, I don't recommend doing the 1 yr.

Congrats..... did you get any Scholarship? I am also a Wait-listed International Candidate & hence I am trying analyze whether I still have a chance for a decent scholarship if I am accepted.

I too received a similar mail yesterday. I have submitted unofficial copies of score reports a month back for which I got an acknowledgement too. Now, the same lady is asking for reports again! Is this a Mistake?

Also, I don't know if you have already noticed, I received a mail from msb.bussiness@nd.edu while the program I have applied is MBA :)

I mailed them back asking for more clarification on score reports.

The waiting is killing! I just finished reading all the posts from page 1 to page 17 (yeah, seems that I have gone insane). Quite a lot of bitterness and sweetness here.

R3 application is considered on a rolling basis. So it's likely we could get the results way earlier than the deadline date(April 25th).

Anyway, I hope I could get the result sooner. My deposit deadline for UNC is approaching (April 15th)...
