UCLA Anderson 2012-2013 Deadlines and Essay Questions

UCLA Anderson School of ManagementThe UCLA Anderson School of Management has announced the MBA application deadlines and essay questions for the 2012-2013 admissions cycle.

Round 1
Deadline: October 24, 2012
Notification: January 23, 2013

Round 2
Deadline: January 9, 2013
Notification: April 3, 2013

Round 3
Deadline: April 17, 2013
Notification: June 5, 2013

Completed applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. PST on the day of the deadline.

Essay Questions

Required Essay Question 1

What is your proudest achievement outside the workplace, and how has it impacted you? (700 words maximum)

Required Essay Question 2

What are your short-term and long-term career goals, and how will an MBA from UCLA Anderson specifically help you achieve these goals? (750 words maximum)

Optional Essay

Are there any extenuating circumstances in your profile about which the Admissions Committee should be aware? (250 words maximum)

Required Reapplicant Essay

(required for those who applied for the class entering in fall 2011 or 2012)

Please describe your career progress since you last applied and ways in which you have enhanced your candidacy. Include updates on short-term and long-term career goals, as well as your continued interest in UCLA Anderson. (750 words maximum)

    The first question is different than what I found on UCLA’s website…. this has led me to question some of the other posts… would you comment on that?

    • Hi Alex,
      Thank you very much for bringing the discrepancy to my attention. The post now reflects the updated essay questions from UCLA. Several schools are in the process of revamping essay questions this year, so from time to time a change may occur after it appears here. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.
