Congratulations to all those with an invite! Does anyone know when the next bunch of invites come out? Not sure if there's a specific interval between releases or purely random.

Think once a week. Last year it was Fridays I believe, this year it seems to be Tuesdays.

Congrats! Do you mind giving us a bit of your profile? And when/where did you schedule it for?


My profile:

GMAT: 770

Undergrad in Engineering, batch of 2011.

Currently working in Flipkart as part of the operations team.

I wrote to the Adcom to schedule the off-campus interview. They scheduled the interview on the 30th of October in New Delhi.

when i visited, Yale adcom said they reviewed applications as they received them, so I was a little disheartened to read last week that others who had submitted after me received invites. however, now i think review is random.

keep your heads up if you are still waiting.

Just got my invite through as well :) I'm ecstatic! I submitted on the 18th and completed my video questions on the 19th. I'm in London, so likely to email tomorrow to arrange an interview here (though a campus tour and day in New Haven is very tempting!).

In case it's encouraging to anyone who's still waiting, I severely bombed my third video question, and had basically written Yale off consequently. My invitation tonight was an incredibly pleasant surprise.

Congratulations on the invite. Looks like the momentum is building now! I'm going to give up on futile pattern analysis henceforth (Monday/Tuesday/Friday/ submission - interview notification blah blah). Who am i kidding :O

I don't think there is a pattern. Most of us who posted today may come from nonprofit/govt, but I know ppl from nonprofits who heard last week. Also, can't speak for my fellow interview invitees, but my goals are not non-profit.
