INSEAD Waitlist September 2015 Intake

but do you think they WL that many people? Looking at gmatclub numbers its under 10%... If offers were at 150, and now at 197... It is nearly a third. I find strange that nobody here has been admitted if thay have made invites to WL people.

I told them I had two offers and if they didn´t make a move by end of the month I would have to with on of them... I am also waiting for LBS... Not sure if it was smart or not.. I clearly told them they were my first option.

Last year, Insead informed WL candidates along with R2 decisions. Had they followed the same trend, we/GMATCLUB INSEAD WL members would have received some news. However, we have 4 rounds this year. So the R2 trend may not be valid anymore.

On the other hand,given the low activity in the WL thread it is also possible that some WL candidates have been offered decision.

With too many unknowns any deduction looks like a vague prediction. So my best bet is to ask the adcom whether anybody has been admitted from WL this year :?

Brothers and sisters of the accursed wait list, I present the numbers of MBAConnect as of today:

was/now
Total: 197/281
Singy: 75/113
Fonty: 122/169

Total Indians: 28/37
Singy: 9/13
Fonty: 18/24

Total Portuguese: 4/8
Singy: 3/5
Fonty: 1/3

Total Americans: 34/37
Singy: 14/14
Fonty: 20/23

Total Australians: 6/8
Singy: 2/3
Fonty: 4/5

There's still about a month left for people to sign up by the deposit deadline. Not counting my chickens before they hatch, but there's a couple of eggs of hope.

Edit: I believe INSEAD is shooting for ~420 or so by the end of R2. There are definitely people who haven't signed up yet.

Ya, this will help to estimate our situation/chances.

And anybody here has any theories on when we might here from INSEAD?
I think, we won't here any thing until the third round decision day; i.e somewhere in March.

I have not heard anything and the one American I know who was also WL did not hear anything either. I really thought someone would've been accepted after R2, however, here is to hoping to movement after R3, seven more days.

Totally disconcerting. Siliconbeach, I was asking myself the same question a few days ago checking out the forums. We might be one of those intakes where not a lot of people make it off the waitlist. I've only got a few more weeks I can wait on the list until I'll be able to reasonably make the September intake. If I don't get word in a few weeks I think I'll reapply to January.

wonhok, ya, there is only a few weeks time left for me as well. I have been admitted to ISB, where classes start in April 2nd week. So i I do not hear news from INSEAD by then, I will join ISB. Looks like(from your signature) you haven't applied anywhere else.Why is that?
