If there are 494 enrolled and last year there were 1024 overall so 512 per intake, is it safe to assume there are approx 18 seats left? anyone knows about this?

I'm finding that it's getting tough to secure a student visa as time goes by.

Visa processing time would be an issue. I only know about Fonty. Going through Campus France for the pre-registration takes three weeks (in the U.S.). Let's say that you can get an appointment with the consulate right after the pre-registration; it will take another two weeks for processing. Waitlist applicants from the EU may be in luck at this rate. :)
