Is anyone planning to reapply for Jan Intake if they do not hear by Mid April?

I was told you have to take your name off the wait-list if you reapply for January intake.

So I applied to one other program, but it wast business related. Thankfully,I got news that I got into that one but I still really really really want to go to INSEAD. It's the best program of it's kind in the US...but I don't know if I want to work for the government again.

Yeah I am. Emailed my AO for reapp instructions. Looks like an update, CV, and an essay so you dont have to do the entire thing over again. Still on the list, but also told her I only had a limited amount of time left on the list and I'd rather work the requirements now because I was going to be overseas for "stuff."

Which I still am, by the way.

You mean the other course is the best of its kind in the US? Are you from the US? I'm military as well, international.

Yes I agree April will bring some movement.

1) People shifting to other schools will finalize their plans
2) Not many international candidates are inclined to apply in Round 4 due to visa issues

So I am assuming the Adcom will have a better clarity on the 'nationwise quotas'.

So let us hope :lol:

Here's a tad bit of interesting development:
Around January I told my AO that I only had until early April to accept a seat.

Few days ago(email, paraphrased):
AO: Yeah, unlikely we can free up a seat by then.
Me: Word. Can you at least tell me if adcom encourages my reapplication?
AO: Yeah, they're cool with it (previously she was really coy with the info and told me it was a case by case basis). [Reapp instructions attached]

So...I guess I'm reapplying.

Havent heard back...does anyone have an idea when we are likely to get a definite answer either way..this year no gmatclub members have posted a convert from WL..has no one heard or are most converts not members...seems unusual...

In the main thread someone posted a total of 475 on MBA connect as of April 1...isn't that number pretty high considering it doesn't include R4's admits? I guess it all comes down to conversion rate for the school at this point for the WLs to have a chance to get in.
