A note on class size:

The arguments I heard when I was in the program centered on the need to:

1. Provide adequate resources to the class (mentoring, career advising, teaching, free books/coursepacks for students! etc)
2. Recruit the best candidates
3. Shift the focus of the brand from being a 'general MBA' to one that is known the world over for it's focus on tech and entrepreneurship.

These are some of the reasons.

I applied in the Early Round and had an In-Person interview today. It was a nice and general conversation. Basic behavioral questions were asked. Nothing unique. She said that the final decision would be given within the next 2 weeks.

Round 2 deadline is Jan 17. I believe you applied in Round 1.

I was interviewed on Dec 6th in Hyd with Mandy Chapman. Interview went fine and she said that I will receive my decision before end of year 2016. Those who all are interviewed please keep us updated your admission decisions. I applied on Nov 13 Round 1.

Was waitlisted last year... wasnt admitted

Bad Luck..!

You have a very nice GMAT score.
Make sure you notify the Admissions team with any additional info regarding-> Promotions/awards/Extra-curricular facilitations etc after you have submitted the app.
Anyways -> Illinois is a great school,wish you all the best :)

I applied on 9th Oct, interviewed on 15th Nov, and got waitlisted on 9th Dec.
