Calling all NTU Nanyang MBA Applicants: (2017 Intake) Class of 2018!!

Hi,

What is the last date for submission of applications for Round 1?

It was 2 November. Has just passed.

How many applicants have submitted applications in R1?

I submitted my application on 28 Th October and the application status is " under progress " . How much time does it take for the status to change to "complete" or " under review "?

Hello everyone,

Needed a quick help: Does NTU Accept new updated GMAT score after the R2 deadline. For ex, let say the R2 deadline is 5th Jan, and I retake GMAT on 15th Jan, then can I send the new updated score to NTU(also update the adcom via email with new score) to further improve my chances of getting in? Also, what's the latest date post R2 I can retake GMAT?

I have send the admissions committee an email on this aswell.
When you say, next deadline, does that mean R3? Couldn't the admission committee just update the new score and look at my application in the same cycle?

Hi jainshubhams92@gmail.com, I had a similar issue. I have taken my gmat once and have registered to take it again to improve my score. I called the admissions committee and was advised to submit my application in time for R1 with my original gmat score and to also indicate the date for the planned gmat test. I have just been invited for the admissions interview so I am guessing they considered my application in R1. Cant advise you on how the revised gmat score affects the application as I have yet to take it. But the best thing to do in your situation is to get in touch with someone from the admissions committee and seek their advice. Hope this helps.

Admitted.

Submitted Application on : 1st November
Invited to Interview on: 11th November
Interviewed on: 16th November
Offered admission on: 23rd November

(FYI I am a Singaporean based in Singapore so this could be one reason why the entire process was so fast.)

Great hope you hear from them soon. My interview was a pleasant experience. The mood was generally light.
Still waiting on them for scholarship details. During the interview I was informed that the scholarship details usually follow a few days after the admission offer. It's been 7 days since I received the offer of admission so hoping to from them soon.

Like I mentioned above. The interview was more of a casual chat. I feel what they are looking for is if you have thought through doing an MBA and that too why the Nanyang MBA.

The questions were typical interview questions and included some about my current role
1) Why do an mba?
2) Why not a part time MBA?
3) Why not NUS?
4) And why MBA in particular and not any other masters or specialization course.

Just an advise, have at least 2(min)-3 questions ready for them because they kept asking me if I had any questions for them.
