Hi ,

I have recently applied to the GMP programme for the 2017-2018 batch . I gave my GMAT on 19th Dec , 2015 and have secured an overall marks of 700. I have a few questions about the overall admission process.

1. I have an overall academic record of 75 % and have close to 7 years of experience in IT . Taking into consideration my GMAT score , do i have a reasonable chance of making it to the interview panel.

2. How should i prepare myself for the interview over the next few months. I am advised that i need to get in touch with some XLRI alumni and probably know more about the interview panel . Not sure how to go about the same.

Would be obliged if i get some help about the above.

Got an admit and decided to join the college.

Pros:

1. Oldest institute. Thus, strong alumni.
2. Cost effective in comparison to other colleges especially colleges outside India. So, better ROI.
3. Strong brand name in India.
4. 15 months course.
5. Its location. Some people say that location is one negative point. However, I feel other way around. You will be out of city life and chaos for one year.
Anyhow, most of us will live in major cities for rest of our life, so why not enjoy altogether new atmosphere and learn to live with limited resource.
6. Decent batch size of 120. Better chances in placement.

Cons:

1. No international diversity.

Will update if something else comes on my mind.
