Calling all NTU Nanyang MBA Applicants: (2017 Intake) Class of 2018!!

Hi !!

So, this is how NTU process worked for me in R1.

I applied on Nov 2nd. Got a call on Nov 23rd for an interview on nov 28th.
Got an admit on Dec 9th.

There were a few others who had applied at the same time as I did. They didn't get an interview call explicitly but received a mail stating that the admission time would be in India during last week of Nov (during the interview sessions) and if an applicant wanted to get an extra mileage in their application then they could book an appointment to meet the committee. Like I said, this was not the same as regular interview calls. But based on this meeting, the committee shortlisted a few for 2nd round of interviews (Skype).

In short, few had 2 interview rounds, and others had just one.
This is w.r.t Indian applicants. Not sure if this was the case in other regions.

Have interview calls for Round 2 started rolling?

I haven't received any mail from NTU. Have you received the interview call?

Even I am waiting to hear back from them. Submitted my application on 20th December. I feel that NTU also takes time like NUS.
I received my call from NUS after 7 weeks. So all we can do is wait.

Any updates for R2 candidates.

I wrote to adcom last week and here is the reply:

"Dear Bishal,

Please check the online application system for your application status as per the admission deadlines information mentioned on the website.

https://www.nanyangmba.ntu.edu.sg/admission/"

So, lets wait for 10th Feb.

How many people who submitted their application in Round 2 have got interview invites?

I have no idea why Singapore colleges takes soo much time and just want us to keep checking the portal.

Even after the interview there is no defined date of getting your final result. Not happy with this procedure at all.

hmmm.. NTU or NUS?

Ya, all Singapore schools take longer time to review the applications. But I guess that is bcoz of their relatively smaller batch size as compared to US and European schools, so they take more time in filtering out the applicants.

Have interview invites been rolled out for round 2?

Hard to say as they are very discreet with their application announcements. I don't know if they even intimate rejected applicants from what I have heard.
Not many share the news of interview invites as well. So unless the university responds to your mail enquiry, there is very small chance of knowing the status.

Has anyone who applied in r2 received a interview call? Will they send the calls up to 10th Feb or on that day itself to the entire lot? Please clarify... only 3 days left...
