Congrats! Did you attend the preview or diversity weekends? I was at the diversity event (female not from Minnesota), and have been in touch with one of the AdCom members since July and I was thinking maybe she got me the invite early.

Well Avalon , carlson was the one school I have been researching for about 18 months now.
I know almost everything there is to know about the school.
the least I could do is help out you guys with this info since it seems like the school is not going to send me the invite this time..

does anyone know if carlson takes-in re-applicants without interview like Olin does.
I had an interview last year but this year I have not heard anything from them yet..

I had submitted my application for Carlson 2 days prior to the R2 deadline and received the application complete email on 4th Dec. Just noticed that a couple of members here have already received the interview invites as well, which has got me panicking now.

rrai243: Dude, I think you should email the Ad Com if they are considering your candidacy without an interview since you already interviewed last year.

I find this statement in the application complete email very confusing: "You will be contacted about scheduling an interview if it is determined that an interview is necessary and you have not already had an interview."

I mean if one does not get an invite then there is no way of knowing if its because your app is too strong or too weak. Has anyone been admitted without an interview ?

No need to panic at this point in time. I received an interview call 10 days after R1 deadline. I submitted a day before the R1 deadline.

No. I did not attend any on campus events. I had met an adcom representative at one of the MBA Fairs. I am not sure if he would even remember me. Nevertheless I ain't complaining..

Got the interview invite today folks.

Guys, I applied to Carlson in R1 and have not got an interview invite so far. Does this mean I'm already rejected?

I am in the same boat. I had emailed peter to know if he had any update on my application and he said that my app is still under review. not really sure what to make out of it.

Submitted on 22nd Oct. Received call on 28th Oct. Interviewed on 10th Nov.
