I just received an email saying R2 deadline has been extended to Sunday, Dec 4. Such a relief, I was struggling with the second essay.

Just hit the submit button several minutes ago. As for the second essay, I find it quite hard to turn "personal qualities or life experiences" to "contributions" :(

Guys, quick question. I have submitted my application for R2. I entered my employment history, EC, and other details on the online form itself, and did the stupid mistake of not keeping a backup with me. I foolishly thought this application will be accessible, or perhaps a copy will be mailed to me :( Now, for submitting my other apps, I have to write all that stuff again. Is there a way to access the submitted app ?

Personally, I don't think such essays are fair. They seem to be more a product of whims and fancies of the ad-com (I may be wrong) under the constant pressure of having one differentiation / creative essay and less an objective assessment of a B-school applicant.

I am in the same boat and I don't see an option either.

Is this thread only for full time MBA, not EMBA (I received admission decision by 12/2)? Wondering if anyone is deciding between EMBA vs OnlineMBA at UNC.

Do you mean 2nd December? That was pretty fast. I submitted on 4th (deadline extension), still waiting for my recommendations to get done. What was your GMAT? Can you briefly share your profile?

Yes, December. It seems KF is extremely proactive in sending out interview invites, many applicants got one before even submitting their applications (ref Clearadmit). Not sure whether it is a good sign or not, because this would mean that the conversion rate from interview to admit might be comparatively lower .
About my profile - Indian IT guy, 5+ years work ex, some (<1yr) onsite experience; Goal - Tech consulting. What about you ?

In threads from previous years I noticed that some applicants received calls the weekend before (starting Friday) the official decision release date. Does anyone know if Kenan-Flagler still does this?

That was my case for weeknight EMBA. Not sure for other programs.
