Gmatclubers who applied for the Management Consulting concentration at KF, did you guys receive any email from Melanee Swanson, President of UNC Consulting club?

I had my KF interview a couple of days back and I think it went pretty well. Yesterday night (IST timezone), I received a welcome email from the consulting club. Does it mean something?

Hi guys,

I am applying in R2 to UNC. This is going to be my first application.
I need your help in resolving my predicament regarding the unofficial transcripts to be uploaded along with with the application.
I have 8 semester marksheets, with the final semester one containing the "cumulative score" and my B.Tech degree certificate says I passed with "first division".

I know that my university additionally issues a "consolidated transcript" which is nothing more than all the 8 semesters in the same page, and a declaration that the medium of instruction was English.
But getting this consolidated transcript would require a week or so, and I am afraid I will not get it in time for the R2 deadline :(

My question is that can I just upload the 8 sem marksheets and degree certificate as the "unofficial transcripts" , and maybe get the consolidated one later, in case I secure an admit or, it is asked for by UNC ?

Yeah, shouldn't be an issue. Just attach all the separate scans in one PDF and it should be fine.

Its best to directly mail the adcom regarding such issues. meanwhile, do get 5-6 copies of your official transcript from the college. It would not just be a consolidated report but an authenticated one with a hologram etc. this original copy will be retained by the university where you take admission. So you need to get multiple copies of this document anyway.

Thanks for responding san750. I did exactly that and received an amazingly quick response from the adcom, stating that I can go ahead submitting the marksheets I have, and can email the consolidated one later, and it can be included in my application.

Hi Kaustub,

Sorry for the late response, I was away for the weekend.
I had a wonderful interview experience. The interviewer was very friendly and soft spoken. I felt as if he was genuinely interested in getting to know me better. Questions were quite standard - Where I come from and where I work? Why my undergraduate discipline in engineering? What organizations / sports I am interested in outside work. Goals and why Kenan-FLagler.
