Got an invite to interview. Find it strange that KF allows applicants to schedule the interview after Dec 12th , the admissions decision date.

The email does clearly state:

Please pay close attention to the above deadlines- it is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure their interview is completed by the deadline.

My boss submitted his recommendation on 21st October and I got the invite on the same day after a couple of hours.
I guess they had already evaluated other parts of my application and were just waiting to receive the recommendation.

my application status page is still showing GMAT score awaited.....your status was complete before you received the invite?

i had submitted my scored to UNC on test day itself....not sure what to make of it.....should i wait or connect with adcom?

You don't need to submit official GMAT score for evaluation of your application. My application is still showing as score report awaited, although I also sent the score 3 months back on test day. I would say give them a couple of days and then send them an email seeking clarification.

KF has a 10 day grace period for LOR and day 10 was yesterday so you should be good.

My application is showing the same thing. I contacted KF and they said they've transitioned to new software to process the apps and that's likely why it's not showing up. They said not to worry and if GMAC said that they delivered it then they almost certainly did.

Anyone else got an interview invite? The last I could see on this thread was on the 23rd. Looks like they're done with their slot for round 1 ?

Are there any specific dates by when the majority of invites to Indian applicants are given out?
My last recommendation was submitted on the 15th of October. Does that delay the process in my case?
Also my GMAT SCORE report showed submitted to UNC on the portal only yesterday. Does that mean they saw my application now?

Well in full honesty the suspense is killing me. Anyone has ideas?

Not sure. Although the website says that the interview invitations to international applicants will start going out after the 31st of October, quite a few of the Indian applicants here have already received interview calls from KF

Mc Combs did something similar. Sent out interview invites to Indian applicants between 20th and 23th. I got mine on 20th itself. And after that there was a sudden silence on the page.

Anyone with idea on this, can you please let us know.

Thanks :)

If you want a Skype interview.. Try mailing.. I had missed my invite mail due Gmail's classification algo. I just booked my slot a day back and I got one available slot.. However there were other slots available which I wasn't able to book because the portal doesn't allow securing slots within 9 days
