What's wrong with "B"?

UNLESS or WITHOUT...which is better?

it's not idiomatic to say 'testify about' A,B,E are out.
Between C and D, go with the most concise choice - C.

(A) if there is a lack of some other doctor to testify
It is clearly awkward and not concise compared to the other answer choices.

(B) unless there will be another doctor to testify
This sentence unneccessarly inverts the direction of the meaning. Although I don't see any grammatical error, it does not provide the most concise, clear, and correct choice.

(C) without another doctorâ€™s testimony
Simple, short, concise, and clear, yet it does not include any grammatical error or changes the meaning in anyway.

(D) should there be no testimony from some other doctor
Incorrect use of "should". Should is used as an "if" for future conditional cases.

(E) lacking another doctor to testify
awkward and the meaning is not clear here.

I think testify about is fine. Google testify about and you will see it is correct.

A is wrong because of other. Other is used between 2 choices.

B is wrong because there is a tense change. accusing ....will be

C is correct and clear.

D is wrong because should implies a moral obligation.

E is wrong because lacking is a verb and needs a conjunction to connect the 2 phrases.
