It's less than 2 weeks for the Round 1 submission deadline. How are your applications coming along? Did any one submit already? :)

I've developed cold feet
Almost done with essays, just fine-tuning them. Is it only me or do others too find this process extremely stressful

I just need to do the video question and then I'm done!

My GPA is on the low side, but I am SO happy with my essay. It is by far the best essay I've written for any school. Hopefully that is a nice hook.

MBBDorBust What did you think of the personality assessment? I'm curious how exactly they use that to evaluate candidates. And yes, their open ended essay prompt really helps you share your true passions / what you care about. It's a great prompt

It’s difficult for me to see admissions legitimately using that to evaluate a candidate. My opinion on all personality tests is that it’s more interesting to see how your results change over time then it is to see what your actual results are. I’m pretty confident if I were to take the same personality test five times, I would get six different results. And so with just one data point, I can’t see how you can use that to evaluate a candidate.

I mean, half the questions were just a coin flip anyway, and neither option effective description of myself. I understand the logic behind the test is to see when you’re closer to, but I don’t think that works too well when I’m just randomly guessing.

That’s just my opinion though. I’m not a psychologist or an expert at this stuff, it’s just what makes sense.

Yeah I am with you.. I can't fathom that they put much weight behind this. MBBDorBust I see quite a few of our schools overlap. Hope we end up at the same place!

Just completed my video questions, I hope they're not weighted heavily because I did terrible LOL. I have a tendency to talk fast when nervous and that really, really, really came out here.

Best of luck to everyone else!

Just finished video essays and behavioral. Wanted to do them the day of the deadline but was busy moving.

I'd recommend that you do multiple rounds of the practice questions that they provide u -- u can go thru them multiple times since practice questions they ask you are randomly picked from a pool of questions.

The actual video questions are lot less generic than the practice questions however.
