Hello Everyone!

Thank you for creating this thread! I am planning to apply in R2.

Does anyone know the format of the LoR? What are the questions?

Does Maddison use the Common LoR?

No. They don't use LoR. Madison's recommendation request is very simple. Half of it is survey style and the other half is short questions. You can find the request document on their site.

I'm a first year student. If you have any questions about the school/classes, I'll do my best to help. Good luck to all applicants.

Hi!
Does anyone have any idea about when do they let waitlisted candidates know about their final decision?
I applied in Round 1 and got waitlisted post interview. I got the waitlisted decision update on December 3rd.

Hi nodnarb

Thanks for coming back to the forum. Can you tell us how the school is handling the online/in-person classes? What do you think about them?

Thanks for the help.

I have received a mail where they have asked me to request for an interview date and time which they can accept, reject or request for some other time.
Is it the standard procedure?

It seemed odd at first but they will likely accept the time chosen by the interviewee. I would highly recommend looking at the debriefs. My interviewer asked the same questions that are reported there.

Thanks for the advice.

Did you receive any response from them?

I think the number of applications for Wisconsin is pretty less, compared to other schools, right?

Yes, they responded quickly to me. One day after I selected my interview date, the University confirmed and accepted it with a link for the day it was scheduled. I interviewed on the 13th of January and got a response from them on the 22nd.

Wisconsin does receive fewer applicants but they have a much smaller class of ~100 students, which are then divided among ten specializations.

Would you please let me know when did you submit your application and which specialization did you choose? Many thanks!

Most of our classes have actually had an in-person option. We all have to wear masks and we must be covid tested once per week by the University. I think the school has been handling it very well. Even if you don't want to attend in-person, the classes are also streamed live on Zoom and you can participate virtually. The lectures have also been recorded and uploaded so students who are in different timezones can view the material at their preferred time. Overall, I think the school has handled it very well.

Hi guys,

I interviewed with WSB on 22nd January and am still waiting bro hear back. Did anyone else face such delays in getting a decision? Could this indicate a negative decision?
