Hello IMD Aspirants,
IMD has initiated accepting applications for the 2022 intake and I have made this thread for all the people who are applying for this intake.

Essays and Application Questions

  • Describe a situation in which you failed as a leader. What did you learn from it? (Word limit 300)
  • Is there any additional information that is critical for the Admissions Committee which has not been covered elsewhere in this application? (i.e. re-application, health, grades, etc.) (Word limit 50) Optional
  • How do you intend to finance your MBA at IMD? How much of your total budget estimate will you be able to provide without loans or scholarships? (Word limit 50​)
  • What other programs are you considering? Of the programs you are considering, what can IMD bring to you as a differentiator? (Word limit 100)
  • What specific companies do you want to target? What kind of responsibilities you are looking for? Do you already have a network in place? (Word limit 50)
  • What skills and experience do you think you already possess that will help you with your post MBA career plans and will make you stand out in front of potential employers? (Word limit 100)
  • What is your plan B if you are not able to secure your ideal job post MBA? (Word limit 50)

Recommendation Questions

  • How long have you known the applicant and in what capacity?
  • Describe the applicant's role in your organization. What has his/her single most important contribution been to the organization?

From the decision tracker, I see hdwnkr and Defixon have received the interview invites. Anyone else?

Hey I have an interview scheduled for 22nd February. Would like to catch up on how everyone is preparing.

When i had logged into the survey to book a slot for assessment day the first available slot was 25th Feb

Can you tell us more about the case study part? As part of the interview, will you be given a case study that you need to work on?

Sorry for the delayed response was busy with official commitments.

I am appearing for the interview on 3rd and as of now i have received nothing

Maybe somebody who appears for the interview before can enlighten us on this aspect

Hey,

You will not receive anything beforehand. You will get the zoom link a couple days before the meeting (I got mine on the 16th and interviewed on 22nd).

I don't think anything has been updated on the decision tracker per se

Did you hear any news on whether IMD has started rolling out invites ??

Hi everyone, I am also considering IMD. I did the profile evaluation and was asked to apply. IMD seems to be a better option than IE for Indian applicants, just going by the number of people who had to return to India after the program. Any insights?
