\(f(x) = f(–x)\)

Now this will be true in two general cases

    1. Either the function does not have any power of x
    2. Or the function has even powers of x so that replacing x with -x will have no impact as square of a negative number is a positive number.

If we glance through the answer choices option D is clear winner as it has even power of -x , which is same as even power of x and no other power of x.

There are also some interesting concepts of Symmetry of Functions which are MUST to know for these kind of function problems.
Watch out the video provided below to Master Symmetry of functions and Ace Functions!

So, Answer will be D
Hope it helps!
