Total = 5*9 = $45

Total = 45+15 = $60
Average of 6 books = 60/6 = $10

Jordan buys 5 books with an average (arithmetic mean) price of $9
Sum of price of 5 books = Average * 5 = $9 * 5 = $45
If Jordan then buys another book with a price of $15, what is the average price of the 6 books
Average Price of 6 books = Sum of price of 6 books /6 = (Sum of price of 5 books + price of \(6^{th}\) book) / 6 = \(\frac{$45 + $15}{6}\) = \(\frac{$60}{6}\) = $10
So, Answer will be A.
