Hey All,
Hope everyone's doing well.
I've just started out my GMAT test prep, and as of now have only given the first GMAT official practice test in order to get a baseline established. I was able to score 700 (Q48 V38) - and I figured out that my verbal needs more work than quant (not a native speaker). My goal is to hopefully get a score in the 730-750 range.
For books, I'm getting the
OG+supplementary ones, and I also will be purchasing the official practice tests 3-6. For the advanced questions practice, I plan to go for a test series + Qbank. But the confusion I'm facing here is if these are good for verbal - almost every product advertises improvement on quant, and while I will focus on improving quant, I definitely want to focus more on verbal (due to my baseline scores)
Hence would be really helpful if someone could offer me advice on:
1) Which test series + Qbank would be good to practice both quant and verbal? I've heard
MGMAT and
GmatWhiz to be good, but not so sure which one should I go for. I'm currently working so I plan to practice questions for an hour daily and give tests on weekends.
2) What should be a good prep resource for the AWA section? I'd read in a post in this forum (can't include links) that AWA topics are finite and limited, but it was from 2017 so I'm not sure if this information is still relevant?
Thank you!
