Wow, what a broad question. Where to start? I recommend that you take a look at the study plan thread here: https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-study-p ... 17827.html
Follow the 6 steps and you should be pretty much up to speed with what the exam is about. You should also note that right now there are 2 versions of the exam: classic and focus. Don't bother studying for the classic exam, it will probably be phased out by the time you are ready to take your exam.
