Hi Sajjad, I have seen these types of questions quite a lot in the forum. Is it an important pattern?
This is one of the most common types of Two-part analysis questions.

At the start of the day: $300

At the end of the day: $300 + $1 * 600 = $900

Customers were twice as likely to have paid with one-dollar bills as with green tokens
=> Of the 600 candies,
  • Candies paid by 1Dollar bills or the number of 1Dollar bills received: D
  • Candies paid by Green Tokens or the number of Green Tokens received: G
  • D = 2G; D+G = 600
  • D = 400, G=200
=> Of the $900 at the end of the day
  • $400 (=$2 * 200) are in Green Tokens
  • => $500 (=$900 - $400) in 1Dollar bill
Answer:
  • 200 Green Tokens
  • 500 1 Dollar Bills
