What does the question “is your company on board ?” mean?

On board is an expression meaning on board the ship meaning they are on the ship you are sailing on. Kind of a colloquialism that is probably hard to understand if English is not your first language. What they mean to say is are they willing to provide time sponsorship (Fridays off 2x/month) and are they also going to allow you time to do the global treks, back off on your deadlines when you have finals, essentially be empathetic and considerate of the fact that you are going to be doing a very intense MBA. They will lose money if you drop out of the program because your job is unhappy with how much time you need to spend on school.

Did anyone have their interview yet? Would love to hear how it went and what questions were asked.

7.How would you manage your time? Is your company on board?

Does anyone know when/how R1 applicants were notified of an application decision?

­Any R1 admits can chime in, but it looks like last year people got an e-mail notification and update in the portal first, as I'm guessing they need time to call everyone who has been admitted.

I asked during the interview if I could receive the answer before the 28th. The said no and explained it's because they collect all data from interviews before making any decisions.
