I re-accumulated the work rate problem with solutions. At https://gmatclub.com/forum/collection-of-work-rate-problems-77092.html#p581805 we got problem and solution not in one file but now we will get so.

Very good post.

There is a mistake thought in the answers. In Question 15 the correct answer is C not A.

I corrected the mistake(s) in my second post.

Wonderful collection. thanks much -
I wonder if the answer to 2nd might need a change:
I get 3*(W/T+W/T-2) = 6W*(T-1)/(T*(T-2))... that leads to a quadratic
5T*T -34T+ 24 =0... hence T=5.
So answer would be D (2W corresponds to 2T=10 days)
Does that sound ok?

Hi,
Im an L here, sorry for late response.

the result of the 2nd degree equation you report is incorrect. The correct result is T=6, thus, the Job of 2W would be done in 6*2=12 days which leads us to the answer E.

Rgds,
Alpa
