Car manufacturers often provide a rebate on new car purchases. The offer of a cash reward for purchasing a car is often enough to convince consumers to prefer one American-made model over another.

A certain car manufacturer, a large retailer of luxury cars, has several manufacturer rebate promotions on popular car models in January 2015. To qualify, a person must purchase specific vehicles and subscribe to the rules of the Access Program.

Business Partners: Those who join the car company’s Business Partners program or who are members of the Associated Builder’s and Contractor’s Union are eligible for 100% of the rebate amount.

Adaptive Equipment Partners: Those who require adaptive equipment or other customizations for health reasons, and who submit the appropriate paperwork and medical documentation at the time of purchase, are eligible for 100% of the rebate amount.

Customer Loyalty Partners: Purchasers who hold credit cards with the car company, who work for the company, or who have a trade-in that was purchased from the same dealership are eligible for 75% of the rebate amount.

Cash Earns Cash Bonus: Purchasers who have a trade of significant value, who trade a car made by the car manufacturer but purchased from a different dealership, or who are paying cash for the car are eligible for 50% of the rebate amount.
