Why is this the third point “no” because it’s at 100% right ?

Tab 2: price list for cars gives a range of costs for each vehicle model, but exact prices are not specified. This third item cannot be determined based on the information given.

The exact rebate amount given to eligible Customer Loyalty Partners who work for the company and purchase Car Model C. The answer should be yes because while they have mentioned trade ins the trade ins would effect the final price of the car not the percentage of rebate redeemed ,that would still be 75% of 2000 $ i.e 1500? Therefore the answer should be yes

Hi, I have a doubt with respect to the second point - "The exact rebate amount given to eligible Customer Loyalty Partners who work for the company and purchase Car Model C" - how is the answer 'No' for this? can someone please explain? thanks.

Tab 3: Access Program levels of benefit indicates that eligible Customer Loyalty Partners receive 75% of the rebate amount associated with their purchased vehicle, but the other sources do not provide enough information to determine the exact dollar amount of the rebate.

Sajjad1994, we know rebate amount from the first tab and we know 75% of that amount for C model is given. So we can find the answer right?

In the first Tab the rebate amounts given are suggestive not a concrete value. They are not the exact amounts. Read the word "Up to".

This is one question not three. In the real exam whenever you get a multi-source reasoning question you get a set of three questions.

Official Explanation

Source #3 indicates that eligible Business Partners receive 100% of the rebate amount associated with their purchased vehicle. Purchasers of Car Model A are eligible for a rebate of up to $1,500 according to Source #1, so the maximum rebate can be determined from the information given.

Source #3 indicates that eligible Customer Loyalty Partners receive 75% of the rebate amount associated with their purchased vehicle, but the other sources do not provide enough information to determine the exact dollar amount of the rebate.

Source #2 gives a range of costs for each vehicle model, but exact prices are not specified. This third item cannot be determined based on the information given.

Ans: Yes, No, and No

Then the first question should also be a 'NO' right? with this logic. Since we don't know the read rebate amount.

Exactly what i was thinking. With this logic 1st one is also no because we don't know the 100% of UPTO 1500.

1a Asks about "Maximum Rebate amount", not the exact. Hence it can be determined.

This question is flawed because on the first point, it assumes that "up to 1500" means "1500 is the ceiling, the 100%" while on third one it assumes that we don't know the exact cash prize, first time I see such an error here in GMAT club. Please fix.

Bunuel @Bismuth83 - why can we figure out the maximum rebate in 1st part if that value is also up-to but we cannot figure out 75% in the second part of the question because it is up-to.

Please share an explanation other than the official answer because that language is confusing. Thanks!

I will try to answer this based on my understanding since I got this right.

The maximum rebate amount given to eligible Business Partners who purchase Car Model A - This asks the maximum, so we can safely tell it will be $1500 as they are eligible for 100% rebate and max it can go is 1500. YES

The exact rebate amount given to eligible Customer Loyalty Partners who work for the company and purchase Car Model C - since the table clearly says 'upto' how can I infer the exact amount? It can be anything upto $2000. So NO

The exact vehicle price paid by an Adaptive Equipment Partner who purchases Car Model B and submits the appropriate paperwork and medical documentation at the time of purchase - There is a price range given + the rebate is also upto $1k.. so I can't tell the exact amount. So NO
