So, here we go... I took the GMAT last Tuesday and got 470 (Q28, V27, AWA 4.5).
It was pretty shocking because I was getting higher scores in GmatPrep. I got a 590 from the last sample test before the exam, so I was hoping to get a score around 580-600, but that did not happen...I never got a Quant score below 30 in all my prep exams and I was lately scoring around 38-42
When I saw my score on the screen, I was so disappointed... I was holding back my tears, it really really hurt me very much that I couldn't even get a 500!! What is wrong with me??!??
After a week, I finally decided to end my depression and to get back to reality! I will have to re-take the GMAT and this time I will have to SUCCEED! And I am willing to work as hard as I can to make this happen...
My Mistakes:
-> I was overly nervous at the exam
-> Poor time management (In the last 10 min, I had about 15 questions left. So, I had to guess...and apparently my guesses were not correct)
Study Plan:
-> Solve questions on my Iphone via GMAT Club application on my way to the office and back home
-> Go over the Manhattan SC book (I ordered online and should have it by Thursday)
-> Go over
OG 11 (I didn't get the
OG 12 - do you think it's necessary?)
-> Continue keeping and updating the
Error Log-> Take the GMAT Club Challenge Tests and full CATs
-> Be more active in the forum
Any other suggestions?? Please let me know...
Thank you!
