Just using MGMAT SC will not be enough. To bring your scores up further you'll have to be thorough with the concepts. I'd suggest Powerscore/Veritas CR, MGMAT SC and MGMAT Math Guides.

Safiya, Just keep taking practice exams and you will make your test taking skills better.

Also, you should consider MGMAT books. They are VERY helpful.

I know exactly how you feel. I took my first exam back in Dec. 09 and scored a 460. At that time I had pretty much given up all hope on attending a decent B-school. Fast forward to this past June and I decided to give it another go. This time around though, I took a different approach. Instead of mindlessly practicing problems from the OG I studied CONCEPTS. My second attempt was on 8/28. End result: 650.

So, moral of the story is do not lose hope! With a little hard work you should be able to boost your score quite a bit. If you want more detail on my study plan, keep a lookout for my debrief -- I should have one posted sometime this week.

so how much time do you have until your next test? You need a complete overhaul at this point since neither of your scores demonstrates concept mastery. Go over the basics is important and use mgmat books and others others suggested. Error log does help but probably not at this time since you need to raise "everything". Dont give up!

Hello Safiya ,

I know exactly how you feel. I took my first exam last month and scored same score. At that time, while coming out of the test center, I debated with my self what went wrong and why. I lost all hope in my life and it took my 15 days to come out of this.

But now, I have decided to re-take.

PM me if you want to discuss further.

All the best :)
