(A) This sentence has problem with tenses. "was" and "has been" are not correct combination. Here sentence is trying to convey that something is as noteworthy as the invention of internet "has been", so "was" cannot be used.
(B) This sentence correctly compares the "invention of internet" with "use of this technology" without any tense error, and the idea is also conveyed clearly. This is the correct option.
(C) Again similar to sentence (A), "was" usage is incorrect here.
(D) "use of this technology" is a recent incident compared to "invention of internet", so use of "has been" with both actions is wrong.
(E) Again similar error as explained in sentence (D), tense used is incorrect.
