Identify a personal account of a time you effectively demonstrated your leadership skills. Respond to one of these two prompts: What about this experience made you feel proud of your leadership abilities? What did this experience teach you about leadership? (300-word limit) |

Hi, can someone pls shed some light on the essay questions? Particularly, 40 words is too short to answer "goals", so, how do we fit "goals" + "how will Emory help"? Also, the second essay, where we need to talk about an influential figure or experience, is there a preference between the two? If not, how do we choose?

Indeed, 40 words seemed short but I just fit everything into one coherent sentence. Perhaps you could just mention how your skills can be complemented by any resource at Emory to help you achieve your goal.For the second essay, I found it easier to talk about an experience instead of any influential figure. That way, it sounded more personal.
