I submitted my application in November end

it has been quite a few days since Nov end. I guess by now invite must have been sent. No school takes more than 3 weeks to do so.

I just got a mail from Emory saying my application is complete eventhough I submitted all my documents on 9th jan, including offical gmat report. I guess they took their time to process application completion and will start rolling out invites from next week. All the best everyone

I applied with the pdf file saved from mba.com site and it’s showing all received. No communication from adcoms to share official one yet

I applied via the Consortium & their deadline was 1/5. However, through their app I wasn’t able to do the video essay. I didn’t get the video essay request until last week & completed it last Friday, 1/20. So my app wasn’t showing as fully complete until Friday, 1/20.

I just had my interview. I feel really good about it. My adcom made it comfortable and conversational. It was about getting to know me. Very straightforward. They weren’t trying to trick me or quiz me.

1. Why mba?
2. Why now?
3. Why Goizueta?
4. Walk me through your resume, a few follow up or clarification questions.
5. Why your undergrad?
6. What will you bring to Emory?
7. Tell me about your current role and if you oversee anyone.
8. What’s your post mba plan? Which location?
9. What questions do you have for me.

They seemed to be on a strict 30 minute limit but I had 6 minutes or so for questions.

They didn’t ask if I had talked to any alumni I had spoken with nor any clubs/classes that I was interested in.

The adcom had reviewed my resume but not my application. A second person does that and they correlate together and with the team to make a decision.

I already had my interview. I went to an event and they said they had just started going through applications about 2 weeks ago, so I would expect decisions to start for at least another couple of weeks and interviews could still keep coming out.

I applied the first week of Dec. However, I realized that most of the people who has been invited applied after me ( the end of Dec or Jan) . So, I do not know if that means that they already have reviewed my application and I was not selected.

Applied on Jan 9th , received interview invitation on Jan 20th, had the interview on 31st Jan
