Let the bags of apples = x.
Let the bags of oranges = y.

We're looking for 2x + 3y.

1. We're given x + y = $10.45.
This statement alone is INSUFFICIENT. We have two unknowns and therefore are unable to solve this question in itself.

2. 6x + 9y = $80.55.
This statement alone is SUFFICIENT. We can divide by 3 to deduce to 2x + 3y. We can do this because the stem informed us that all bags of apples are priced equally, and all bags of oranges are priced equally.

Statement 1: We are given the sum of price of 1 bag of apple and 1 bag of orange. We need the individual price of a bag of apple or a bag of orange to calculate the asked price from the given information. Hence, Insufficient.
Statement 2: We are given the price of 6 bags of apple and 9 bags of oranges. We can find the price of 2 bags of apple and 3 bags of oranges by dividing the given amount by 3. So, we can calculate the price asked. Hence, Sufficient.
