Had a query regarding scholarships - Do they tell you if you've received one when they send the offer letter or it happens at a later date?

Also, does improving your GRE play any role in increasing your chances if it's the latter.

Guys who have already made your applications - how clear and concise does the short term goals need to be ? Do we have to mention the exact role and companies we aspire to get into post MBA ?

If it’s a career growth or industry switch goal then good to mention the “space” you want to be in and mention 1-2 company names as well. Even location.

But Oxford has a long essay for this topic (unlike INSEAD where you get 100 words!). So maybe use that immediate plan after MBA question for this to also show how that’s a natural progression for you and evidence Of of motivation for it.

Thanks , the problem is finding the job role that fits in with my career goal . I’m clear of the industry and what I want to do . Should we be mentioning the role as well - like marketing manager or consultant ?

Yes, cz they want to see if you’ve done your research and are clear on the next steps. Given it’s a 1-year program, I feel they want candidates with clarity as there’s hardly going to be any time to experiment or explore.

I applied with 320 GRE that loosely translates to that in GMAT. I think it depends on how well of a fit is your overall profile for the school. And if this is a competitive score for your demographic/industry.

Not very sure on the first question but I think you can definitely drop a mail after the application submission to let them know the new score. For the second, it has been mentioned that the recommendation should be completed alongside the application submission else they won’t accept it in that round.
