If N is a positive integer greater than 1, what is the value of N?

A)N has exactly N factors.
Only possible values 1 and 2, but N is greater than 1; hence only possible solution is 2. Sufficient

B)Both N and N+3 are Primes.
Only possible value for N is 2 (Namely 2 and 5 are primes). Sufficient

[quote="stonecold"]If N is a positive integer greater than 1, what is the value of N?

A)N has exactly N factors.
What does it exactly mean?
It means that all number till N are factors of N...
So if you look only 1 has 1 factor and 2 has 2 factors and thereafter, all have less than N factors
N>1, so our answer is 2

Sufficient

B)Both N and N+3 are Primes.
Except 2, all prime numbers are ODD.
Hence N+3 has to be odd, meaning N will be even.
And we know only even PRIME number is 2.
Sufficient

D

Question : WHat is the value of N?

Statement 1: N has exactly N factors
N may be only 2 for given fact that N is greater than 1

SUFFICIENT

Statement 2: Both N and N+3 are Primes

For any Integer Value of N, One of the N and N+3 will be EVEN and other will be ODD
since both are Prime and 2 is the only even Prime number therefore N must be 2 hence

SUFFICIENT

Answer: option D
